So every 2 weeks or so I get a bad OC error from my MB which gives me the options to hit F1 to enter setup and change settings or F(something) to load defaults.
I hit F1, go into BIOS and straight to Save Changes and Exit, at which point my computer boots completely fine.
I've run IntelBurn and passed, as well as 6hrs+ of Prime95, and god knows how many hours of gaming.
The computer runs completely fine, but these random boot errors are pretty annoying.
I think it may be linked to days when I get Windows updates, but I'm not 100% sure.
My computer gets shut off every night for ~8hrs, then left on all day.
This morning when I turned it on it was looping "no floppy drive detected" then "no cd-rom detected", until I rebooted and got the error.
Windows updated last night when I turned it off.
Ideas?
