you did a pretty good job. however you DO NOT need a 1200W psu. 1200W psu would do 4 of those cards without skipping a beat.

i know you said money wasnt an issue, but if you had a budget what would it be? give me a ball park figure and ill put together a build for you.

understanding that there is no budget... but there is overkill. Instead of paying twice the money for 10% more performance, or parts that will not even be closed to taxed by modern games, you should really consider upgrading components. watercooling isnt really for everyone.

instead of $2500 for the computer, spend $1500 and spend a grand on a giant IPS monitor or 3 nice ones set up in an array.

meh, just sayin'.

$3k or so, but if something is just so worth it ill pay it. and what i ment was i didnt do the extreme edition of the i7 because of the rediculoas price for not the equivilent performance if tthat makes sence, same gos for the memory didnt get the 64gb because of it. and all your help would be thankful!

can you explain what is the overkill areas? have been looking at the monitor set ups

couple things here. thank you jasonalwaysready for the input but going 3k on tower, looked at those monitors very nice! and another thing here pertaining to the memory, i see that it gos to ddr3 2400, i understand this as a faster memory than ddr3 1333. not sure how it all works though as some say overclocked. as far as the mother boards the one i looked at had dual lan 10/100/1000 and wondering how that effects connection. also looking for a "gamer" card, increases online performance or something. and an amazing wireless card would help too. thanks everyone for all the help, im sure ill have a million more questions:whistle:

ddr3 1600 is a good speed. theres no need to go faster than that.

the 'gamer' network cards could hypothetically get your ping down a few ms, but i would put that last on the list of things to change or upgrade. theyre just gimmicky and promise more than they deliver.

the 10/100/1000 is the connection speed that the NIC card is capable of. they are all pretty much the same. unless you have some sort of crazy network and server situation going on, i don't think that you need to have 2 lan ports. unless you have a fiber gigabit connection to your computer or said home server, you wont have to even worry about the 1000 of it.

what would be the need for the wireless card? any $30 pcie interface card would do.
