So My motherboard fired off the debug 80 code. I looked up the code and it translate to OEM DXE Initialization code. So I hopped online to translate this into something I could understand. I find people talking about how to fix it, but not what it means. I also ran a search on this forum.

So can anyone break down for me what OEM DXE Initialization is?

I seen some say theirs throw that when they run AI Suite II, which is what I was doing. I rebooted and it's back to AA.

well first off OEM means original equipment manufacture as for DXE it handles all sorts of data and it manages data like if you devolped somthing that needs software to control it you can license DXE for that

Ok, that makes sense. I should have broken the code down into parts when looking it up.

So With that information, can I take that code and say that computer is initializing the DXE (drivers or firmware? related to the bios?) in order to operate something, or it's having trouble initializing the DXE? Specifically, something that the AI2 Suite was trying to access?

I hope I'm clearly translating my thought process here.
