So i'm making my move to intel, thoughts and opinon? Just a note, Im only running a 1080p monitor and mostly only playing BF3 FSX. I may be interested in a dual GPU setup later down the line...

Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail [BX80623I72600K]
Asus P67 Sabertooth Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard ** B3 REVISION ** [90-MIBEDA-G0EAY0KZ]
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9) [CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9]
XFX HD 6970 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card with FREE BattleField 3 PC Game [HD-697A-CNFC]
Corsair Obsidian 650D Gaming Midi Tower - Black [CC650DW-1]
Corsair Hydro H100 Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (Socket LGA775/LGA1155/LGA1156/LGA1366/LGA2011/AM2/AM3) [CWCH100]

So I have a 700W OCZ PSU, and two storage drives, might be looking into an SSD as a boot drive, my budget is about 1K give or take. I also went for the P67 chipset because im a fan of Asus' TUF series motherboards.

So please tell me if you agree/disagree =)

If this is only for gaming, and you're only using 1 1080p monitor, drop the processor to a 2500k, change the GPU to a 560ti 448 core, and change the RAM. The heatspreaders may interfere with your CPU cooler, and 1866 is unnecessary. Go with this ram:

Edit:

Just noticed you're not from the US, so here's a link to the RAM from a UK site:

Corsair Memory 8GB Vengeance Jet Black Low Profile 8GB DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 XMP Dual Channel Desktop - CML8GX3M2A1600C9 - Scan.co.uk

Here's the RAM from Overclockers:

+1 I have the non 448 core 560ti i5 2500k and sabertooth p67 and can handle battlefield on ultra so the 448 core will be great for what you need. Everything else looks good. If you have the money I would definitely throw in an ssd for the os.

If you're going to be do some serious overclocking (I assume as much considering the H100) then I'd get a different case.
That is unless you plan on getting a custom water loop for your video card(s).

The 650D is focused more on water cooling.
I'd say go for the Corsair Graphite 600TM if you're not water cooling GPU(s) since it has the mesh side panel with room for 4x 120mm fans to cool the cards.

if your getting a 6970 i would get a 7950 for 100 more dollars if your gonna dual gpu down the line it would better

Thanks for the replies, so I did a bit of research and the 2500k is really not that far off the 2600k, but £100 more? crazy. As for the GPU, the 6970 doesnt cost much more than the 560ti so im in the middle. And finally I chose the H100 simply because the difference between that and a H80 is abot £10 here in the uk, so I might aswell go for it. Thanks for you help guys!
