Hey, I'm new to these forums, I wasn't sure where to post this but I think it's the correct section.
Well currently I'm running AMD FX-4100 @ 3.7GHz with a standard AMD CPU Fan that came.I don't think it's doing a good enough job of cooling my CPU as my temperature always seems to be at a high rate. The motherboard I have is a Gigabyte Technology GA-880GM-USB3 (Socket M2). Im wondering what CPU Fan you would advise me to buy, I have a price range of £50 which is around $75 USD.
If you can reply Thanks!

Depends how much room you have in your case.
I'd go with a Noctua NH-U9B SE2, or an NH-U12P SE2 if you can fit it.
Alright thanks, My case is Cooler Master Elite430 Black

If that's any better with the situation. Would it be a good fit or a tight squeeze?
It's 7.5" Wide and 16" Height.

Couldn't find the exact specifications for usable heatsinks, but I did find two reviews that used 153mm and 158mm HSFs in their builds.
So I would assume you have the freedom to use either cooler since the NH-U12P is 158mm as well.

If you're not overclocking (3.7GHz is about stock for the FX-4100 right?) then you should be fine with the NH-U9B.
