Need advice on how to increase my fps while gaming

The highest fps I can get is around 30 in most games, I'm looking for 100+

What games are you playing?

That 4600 is quite old. And I think that is a mid-range card. Did you try lowering settings in games?

If I were to upgrade that, the gpu would be the first thing on my list.

For $125 or so you could get a nice upgrade.

thanks for the speedy replies, I thought I wrote that I had about 200-300$ budget to upgrade with right now, the games I'm playing are like LoL, Dota2, MW3, the one that I noticed I had a problem was Diablo 3 beta, its just really laggy. @Whirlwind, what card would you suggest, think I should stick with ATI?

thanks for the suggestion, I do have a few concerns about this card, It has only 1 DVI output and I am running dual monitor setup, it is pci-e 3.0 I'm not sure my MOBO supports that or not, and it isn't 256-bit, I can probably get some adapter for the output problem, but as for the other 2 concerns, do you think they are warranted?

AMD site suggests a 500w, although they suggested a 450w for my 5750 and I ran it fine OC'd with an OC'd CPU on a 400w.
