Blue Screen Before Starting..........

Hi guys, I am using a 2 year old Compaq Presario CQ40 Laptop with windows 7 home basic OS.From the past 2 days when starting the lappy after logon screen there is a 1 min. blue screen and then the desktop page is opening..I am not able to understand whether its a Soft/Hard ware problem.I am extensively using the theme changer Tune up Styler from Tune up Utilities 2012 and My battery backup is very very poor(During boot it shows the msg to change the battery). Please suggest any ideas for me to take immediate action on the laapy......
