So yesterday I was playing the Diablo III beta, and I noticed a burning electronic smell. I noticed my PSU's fans were dead so I shut everything down. The computer still runs fine and the fans will start up and run for a minute or two then die. So I rigged a 120mm fan standing up and blowing straight into the PSU. Will this get me by until my new PSU gets here? I have been using it (am right now) for a while and it seems stable!

Here is the new PSU I Got: Newegg.com - CORSAIR Professional Series HX850 (CMPSU-850HX) 850W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 80 PLUS SILVER Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

that should be more than fine.

Ok awesome, good to hear! Thoughts on that PSU I bought? After rebate and the $15 off, and free shipping its $134. In the comments people are running GTX 480s SLI and another 550ti SLI. Hopefully in the future I can get a second GTX 470 in there.

I have the 520hx and run a i7 oc'd and a 260.. It did run a 2nd for fun though.

I ran sli 260s with a 700 so a 850 will just laugh at sli 470's.

Well that is great to hear! I've needed a new one for a while now... I have had that old thing inside a few different builds.
