Hi forum,

Im back and ready to built a gaming rig... I try to go over my last post were everyone helped me out on a built.. but since time has gone by and new parts.. I ask agian to help me out...( Sorry.. Im just not a compter guy.. this stuff makes my head spin the more I look into it...)

I need this for gaming and stocks.. I need to be able to run 3 or 4 screens with this built.. currently have 2 monitors..(samsung led 23")

I also want it to look good and have some bling to it.. also some water cooling if possible.. the rig will be on my desk due to my little dog..

I have set my built around $2000 +/- . and I will use this for possible 5 years+...

Any help would be great!!

Thank you for ur help.. And this can run all the crazy games?

checking out the stuff after this...

the 7970 would run games without a breeze its the best card out on the market in my opinoun

let me throw together a build for you, i will edit this post when it is done... so check back for an update...

EDIT:

good build sniperm, but mine will walk all over yours with a smile on its face, and if you take the ssd out, mine is only $100 more than yours...

with this build taylor, you would defiantly have a pretty capable computer for a long, long time.

I would like to get the I7 and the SSD in the built..

but wats up with the bridge thing?

btw, money doesnt concern me.. So, if there is something let me know... I need to use this for 5 years+

I set the budget cuz if I would of made my built.. I would picik all the $$$ just thinking more $$$ mean better computer..Lol

One more question.. If I get the 64bit OS.. would this be a problem running some games??

I remember some one telling me some thing like this...

I dont get this...

also Intel Ivy bridge is suppose to come out in april which should be about 7-10% better then sandy bridge. so this would be a pretty good build as of right now and If you want a little better cpu theirs an i7 2700k Newegg.com - Intel Core i7-2700K Sandy Bridge 3.5GHz (3.9GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 3000 BX80623i72700K for 40 dollars more.

IF you're going for anything above the 2500k, go for the 2600k, the 2700k is useless, just a (slightly) higher stock clock.

One more question.. If I get the 64bit OS.. would this be a problem running some games??

Sniperm, please don't double post. If you have something to add to your post within 24 hours, use the edit button at the bottom of your most recent post (looks like a pencil). And, no. 64bit is pretty much the standard now a days, and you must have it if you want to use all 8gb's of your RAM.

Ivy bridge is the new line of processors from intel. They should come out quarter 2 this year.

Yah but with my build you still have 400 dollars to make changes and 2x7950 you might as well get a x2 7970 if your gonna spend that much
