HP Pavilion dv7-6193ca Keyboard Issue.

Greetings,

I just got this laptop last night and set it up. Today I turned it on and whenever I typed it make a click sound through the system sounds. Heres the big issue. I cant repeat the same key EX: "Food" The double 'o' makes it so I have to push another key so I can type the 'o' again. Its for every key, even the backspace.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you look at the character repeat function in Control Panel, Keyboard?

I did that, Set the repeat delay to short and repeat rate to fast. Still having the same issue.

have you tried updating, restarting, and all that good stuff? Also try using a usb keyboard see if the problem is there. If it happens with the keyboard then its software related, if the keyboard works fine, then go into the device manager and update the trackpad drivers and if that doesn't work then that's what warranties are for!
