yes i have been doing some research and i have a standard pos Intel gma 4500m and i would like to run the IL-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover. people say that i can't install a new graphics card because the old one is build into the motherboard, and i am bit of a noob when in comes to advanced computing but i know my way around most basic things. but in theory, forgetting the space of a laptop case and you have a open pci slot can't you mod you case and install a card on one of the bottom pci slots?

Your friends are right. You can not upgrade your video card.

Now, people have mounted external video cards. BUT you have to know a hell a lot about circuitry. We do not practice that on here.

BTW, it has a mini-pci port, not a full fledged pci slot.

Sorry, I'm afraid you are SOL. Your only choice would be to turn the game graphics down, or get a new laptop/desktop.
