nzxt phantom case and unfit additional fans?

owkay guys, here's i think that i read couple of days ago that is't true that only nzxt fans are the only fan that can fit in the nzxt phantom case? plz reply..

120mm fans are 120mm fans. Universal.

Where did you read that?

No, fans come in 3 ratings, Diameter, rpm, AND thickness.

The Corsair 6' case can not fit any fan in the front thicker than 20mm. Which is ONLY from Corsair.

So it may be quite possible, but depends on its position.

It looks like it uses traditional fans. 2 x 120mm back/side fan and a 200mm top fan.

i read da info in newegg about the nzxt phantom it says (NZXT only guarantees fitment with NZXT's FN-200)

Okay, i figured as much. Looking at the fn200 its hard to tell if its standard, and 200mm are not always standardized when on cases.
