Hi guys, so I've been out of the computer scene for a while..
I'm looking for a SSD for Sata II and 6GB's of DDR3 triple channel RAM
EDIT:
Sorry forgot to add this in, but I'm also looking to overclock my i7 920 from 2.66GHZ to at least 3.0GHZ possibly even hit 3.2GHZ.
What kind of heatsink do you guys reckon I should get? When first bought my computer I was looking at the Noctua U12P-SE1366, or should I be looking at newer heatsinks now?
I live in Australia and the sites I'm using are
CPL - Cheap Computers & Notebooks
MSY-The name you can trust-More than 14yrs In IT industry-Nationalwide branches serve you & offer the best IT price everyday
My specs are
CPU: Intel i7 920
Mobo: Gigabyte EX-58-UD3R (rev 1.0)
Graphics: Gigabyte GTX-260
HDD: WD Green 500GB, yes I know very wasted on this system
RAM: 3Gb Transcend, other than that I have no idea, I think it's 1600mhz, also very wasted..
PSU: Corsair 620HX
Also, is it worth it to get a SSD on SATA II?
I can also get a WD Velociraptor 300GB for $89 AUD
Thanks for taking the time to look at this
