ARGHH, can't decide... amd vs. pentium

looks fine to me 7200 RPM is decent, card reader is nice and the hub cant hurt you, but all this crammed in one kinda scares me, things with more features break more often.
but here for 7 more dollars you can get a 250 gig with similar specs otherwise.

i've heard some bad things about maxtor so i'd rather not buy them...

also, 250gb is WAY more than i need. i have an 80gb right now, and that's almost filled. i doubt i'll ever have more than 100-120gb or programs/documents.

what is ghost? i've never heard of it.

and is firewire considerably faster than usb 2.0? i only have usb on my current comp, but my next one will definetely have firewire.

well id say for 30 bucks i can ignore a little noise.. and iomega has been around forever so id say their quality cant be that bad. and you can always set your external on the other side of your comp to help get the noise away from you. and what were the "other things"

"the other things" were bad customer service and the drive failing after a year.
