How to update drivers on a Biostar mobo

I have a PC about 6 monhs old, and USB ports fail to operate successfuly, causing crashes when transferring files to flash drives.

My mobo is Biostar brand, and I have visited their website, and the USB 2.0 controller is still at version 1, and is quoted for Operating Systems:Windows 2000/ XP x86.
Is it likely this isn't for win7x64?
Has the manufacturer setup my PC incorrectly?

Why do Biostar have a drivermanager program that I can download but have to subscrbe and pay for driver updates????

Download and run the chipset driver. It should have the USB controller in it. The solo USB controller driver is from 2008.
