Hello, i have a problem with the disk space with my external hard drive.

My external hard drive had 698gb in total.

I wanted to install Linux Fedora along with my windows vista but it said that my hard drives (internal and external) need shrinking to get disk space for fedora. I went to disk manager and i did shrink my internal C drive but it was only 2GB. So i tried it with my External drive but it didnt work.

Now in disk manager it says that the hard drive has 698gb in total but in MY COMPUTER it says that i have 349GB in TOTAL!!! Please help? because i lost lots of space!!!!

Here is an image:

Ok, but ive never done that before, can you make a small simple guide for me? :) also in Disk Management on Disk 1 (my external hd) it shows only 1 partition which is the original 698GB. so i cant really delete a partition on that disk.

Oh dont worry i fixed it by backing up the drive and formatting it, thanks for your help anyway.
