An SSD makes a big difference, even in BF3. Between rounds I seldom get to read the tips because the load screen is only there for a second or two.

I guess that's a con of SSDs then? no tips for you!

I think I'll definitely pick up a SSD when I do the Mobo & CPU upgrade. Just have to figure out what capacity. Storage isn't an issue really for me because I have 3 - 2 Terabyte HDD's and the current system disk of 640G. Right now I'm using about 1/2 of the storage on the system disk. That's really only because I have so many steam games installed. I bet if I only installed what I always use, I could get away with a 240G or a 256G. I could always install less demanding apps on an HDD I guess.

How do you guys use the SSD's?

I have my OS, main apps, and BF3 on mine. All other programs go on a mechanical drive, as does storage.
