Just thought I'd post. It took me a while to figure this out. I'm not familiar with BIOS. However I think I've finally OC'd my CPU for the first time.

I have a AMD Phenom II x4 965. Stock speed is 3.4. I clocked mine to 3.79 running stable. Idle temps are roughly 31c. Prime95 put it at 53c. I didn't screw with the voltage, I just left all that at IDLE in BIOS. All I really did was adjust the FSB speed to 223 in small increments. 224 became unstable. I guess it's that easy? For cooling I'm using the Hyper 212 in push pull. My case is just a Rosewill R102. Surprised my temps are this low, however I have 120mm on the front and back.

I also did my RAM. I have 8GB G skill Snipers @1333 clocked to 9-9-9-24, is that good? I don't know, still trying to figure that out... BIOS only gave me a few options on frequency values for them. AT 800 my PC wouldn't post so I chose the next one down which was 6** something... Also didn't toy with the voltage.

Anyways, just thought I'd share. Feel free to chime.

EDIT:

My RAM is reading the following:

DRAM Frequency 743.4
FSB: 310
9.0
9
9
24
33
2T
