Need help choosing GPU

Yeah my bad i was thinking that the card was going to be as wide as the pci-e thing it plugs in to. I just realized that the card is much larger lol

E: Okay so i decided on a CORSAIR 600w PSU and the HD Radeon 6770[url].

This is pretty much final, but one last question will the pci-e 2.1 the gpu has be compatible with the pci-e1.0 my mobo has?

Alright which one of these combinations is better:
CORSAIR 500w w/ GTX 550 ti

or

HD Radeon 6770 w/ CORAIR 600w

There is a 5 dollar difference between each choice so i want to know which you guys think is better. From what i can tell the GTX 550 ti is better than the 6770, but you guys know a lot more than me lol

The 550 Ti and 6770 are very close together.

I'd rather take the 600W. It's builder series, though. Not the best stuff, but it should work.

Im gonna try to order the parts tonight, so 1 last question. If it isnt answered in time ill go for the 600w, but which psu would you choose from these choices.

Well you can go with this one:

With the promo code you're saving some cash. 600w (though I believe it could be overrated, more like 500w) and 80 plus certified. Remember, whichever PSU you decide to use, save your old one. It will keep you from having to buy a new one when you build your own PC. Just put the old PSU back into the old computer.

Also I would consider the 6790, the benchmarks are considerably higher than the 6770 for only a tad more money.
