Ok, so long story short:
I had a video card burn up due to a fan locking up and overheating. A friend of mine gave me a GTX 470 by ASUS. I have a Thermaltake Modular Power supply. I do not have (cannot find) the PCI-e cables for it. The GTX 470 requires two six pin connectors. I do, however, have two Corsair PCI-e Modular cables. They would fit other than a solid piece of plastic just needs a slit cut into it. My question is, IF I cut this piece of plastic, are the pins going to be universal as far as the power cables? Or am I going to get a Ground where there should be a +12V Cable? Thanks in advance!
