Is the AMD Bulldozer FX-4100 3.6ghz able to handle new games?

Im getting a new computer for christmas, Its got a Good card (6950) and 8GB of ram . I just want to hear a little about the CPU before I go ahead and get this desktop.

It'll be great for all new games, though my personal recommendation would be an i5 2500 instead. Bulldozer, while cheaper, is about the same performance (or, even less performance where games are concerned) for a much higher power consumption.

Edit: Ah, just realised this is a pre-built PC, in which case yes, it'll do fine.
