I've been trying to install XP on a Systemax Venture m120. The system came pre-installed with 7. As I would like to keep the 7 installation, this system has to run RMS that only works in XP (unfortunately). I boot from the disk and get all the way through the windows disk check and what not. Right when it starts to initiate the begin to install I get a BSOD. It gives a 0x07b stop. I've tried both disk and via USB and continually get the same stop error.

I've never had issues installing XP before, not quite sure why its doing this.

thanks

The system is to new for XP. There isnt any XP Drivers for that system that will allow XP to work with it. You will have to look to using XP Mode or a VM of XP. You will not be able to dual boot.

Download Windows XP Mode
All the information you could ever want on XP Mode. Just have to have a qualifying version of Windows 7 to use it. If not then you will be forced to use VM.
