Intel HD Graphics Family...?

That is what I have in my new HP Pavilion dm4.
Its got:

-Windows 7
-Intel i3 2.20GHz
-6GB Memory
-Graphics Memory 1.7GB

I want to get Skyrim but I don't know if it will run it or not. systemrequirements.com says it won't even though I do have enough graphics memory. Is that cause its virtual or not dedicated graphics cause of the intel chipset. Or would it work anyways which would be sweet? Thanks

Even if you manage to start it up it won't be playable, probaly not even on low settings. Isn't there a demo so you can try it out without splashing out? And most importantly, isn't there a dm4 with ATI discreet graphics? I seem to remember there is, if you plan on any gaming maybe you can still swap it where you bought it?

Your computer meets the minimum specs, for everything but graphics, which are very important to gaming. So, no, Skyrim will not run on that system.
