Small upgrades to my build, would it make a difference?

Yep pictures will be here, haha reminds me of the thread I made when I first built this PC back in March. Oh and expect middle of the road cable management, not really good with that :/

Oh guys one thing since I have to remove the momma board to install a backplate, what's a good surface to lay it on so I won't end up with a toasted motherboard :S ?

anything non-conductive, preferably lint/particle free.
Cardboard, wood, corkboard, etc...

Just take a normal cardbord box, flatten it.

Do you guys know if Slaymate's guide for overclocking is updated, and I'm guessing cpuid is the program I want for watching temps after overclock?

There's many of them. I tend to use HWMonitor or CoreTemp. Not sure about his guide, as I don't keep up on it. It'll be a guideline at most.
