Hello,

I was using a dvr 320 gb harddisk in it. I must take the video in that harddisk from that hard drive to my computer. So i took hard disk and connected to my computer. It can be seen in ide drives and in computer management - drives.

It seems
289 gb not formatted. So i have to make a new path or partition.

But as i said, i need to reach that video so i cant format that drive. What i can do in that case? Please help me..

If you took the hard drive from a DVR, there's a chance it's formatted in some way that Windows doesn't know (possibly it's a special format that the DVR manufacturer uses).

Alternatively it's encrypted to prevent you doing exactly that, which I find more likely (it's to prevent copyright infringement).

If it has that ability, then yes that would be your main option.

But if i do that, will i be able to see clearly as a for example a removable disk in my computer like how a mobile seemsthere? Do i need any programs to access into it?
