Trying to buy a new budget PC (Need opinions) For EverQuest 2

Hi guys,

Since the lanuch of EverQuest 2, I really need a computer overall, I've decided that I'm going to buy the parts online, and then hire someone to put them together, since it's much much cheaper to do so anyway.

I've put together a list of what I'll be buying and such, I wanted your opinions on a budget wise PC, and where I can save money, or what part is really too advanced for the PC I'm trying to build.

I'm also wondering if these parts would go together at all, I get confused easily with RAM and Motherboards, and I don't want to make the mistake of buying an item, which I can't return.

Here's my list: (Money is in Australian Dollars by the way.)

Video Cards:
Leadtek A340-T GeForce FX5200 128MB DDR, AGP8X,- $102.45

CPU's:
AMD Athlon 3000+ XP `Barton` with Cooling Fan- $263.20

Motherboards:
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe, DDR400, 400FSB, AGP8x-Pro, GigLAN, SATA-RAID- $160.15

RAM:
Corsair 512MB PC133 Value Select SDRAM- $156.20
http://www.techbuy.com.au/products/.../Corsair/-/512MB_PC133_Value_Select_SDRAM.asp

DVD-ROM:
4KUS 16X IDE DVD-ROM Drive, Retail Pack- $40.35
http://www.techbuy.com.au/products/...VD-7T16/16X_IDE_DVD-ROM_Drive_Retail_Pack.asp

Hard Drive:
Western Digital 80Gb 7200rpm ATA100 HDD with 8MB Cache- $103.75
http://www.techbuy.com.au/products/...JB/80Gb_7200rpm_ATA100_HDD_with_8MB_Cache.asp

Case:
Antec SUPER-LANBOY 350W Midi-Tower Case (With Power Supply)- $207.00
http://www.techbuy.com.au/products/...Antec/-/SUPER-LANBOY_350W_Midi-Tower_Case.asp

Total: $1032

---------------------------------------------
Is there anywhere else, I could save money, or a cheaper solution?

Also, wondering about the case, I don't know how many slots I really need, it's kinda confusing, I pretty much want to budget as much as I can.

Thanks for your inputs. Really appricate it. I really looking to get it running on Everquest 2, which system recommended requirements are:
Recommended Specifications:

Operating System: Windows XP
Processor: 2 GHz or greater
RAM: 1 GB
CD-ROM: DVD-ROM
Video Card: DirectX 9 compatible. Pixel shader and Vertex shader compatible hardware with 128mb of texture memory or greater

Thanks if anyone can help!

i believe they do sorry i wasnt thinking of where you were at  so even if u did get a better deal off of newegg the shipping would prolly kill ya

The problem with newegg is they don't ship anywhere outside the u.s.,even if they did you could probably find it cheaper where you live cause you would'nt have to pay all the shipping and that.

Even though you want a budget pc i advise you get a better graphics card then that. look for the ati 9600, much better then the one you chose right there. You also need some suitable ram...

Edit: i just saw how expensive stuff are there so i changed my mind on the ati 9600, instead go for this, still better then the one u got.
