Upgraded my 250GB to 1TB HDD using GParted. Intel Boot Agent: No Boot Filename Recieved! Help!

Hello!

Followed the advice of some other posters and I did the following:

1.) Downloaded Imgburn and GParted
2.) Installed my new HDD
3.) Changed BIOS boot to CD ->> HDD
4.) Loaded up GParted; Cloned my Partition from 250GB to the 1TB.
5.) Turned off computer, removed old HDD.
6.) Turned on computer, got this error.

Apparently this means that the computer cannot find an OS. If I cloned the HDD, why can it not find the OS?

Any help?

Hello,

I guess your HDD is not bootable...
I mean first format your HDD, set the patitions you need, set the wanted partition as primary and active, load your 250GB.

Well just thought...;
check the settings of your HDD, does your Jumper is in "master" position (check the diagram on the HDD if you are not sure) and the second point if you have Connector make sure you do not have 2 master on the same map (your DVD player and your hard drive for instance) .
