Apokalipse Golden Master Messages 14,559 Location Melbourne, Australia Nov 12, 2004 #13 did this happen only after installing SP2?
OP OP D dennis72 Solid State Member Messages 8 Nov 12, 2004 #14 nope... I don't think it is related to SP2 and guess what? after a few times of restart, the beeping sound becomes less frequent.

OP OP D dennis72 Solid State Member Messages 8 Nov 12, 2004 #19 I've already disabled it, but it still beeps sometimes
I intercodes Daemon Poster Messages 973 Nov 12, 2004 #20 dennis, Did you disable both the, 'BEEP' found in hidden Plug and play devices and the 'system speaker' in System Devices? If you tried both of these options and you still get those beeps and freezes often, i suggets you to run a 'repair' using the XP Cd. Sign Codes
