To build a budget pc that can play skyrim for around $700?
I would need monitor + OS in there :/

The HDD price jack is due to the flooding in Thailand, the bigger supporters of HDDs. But people got scared and ordered them while they were cheap, therefore, a spike in prices.

I think you can get a full fledged computer for $700. It'd be close, though. I'll look around at prices and see what I can do.

So I have been thinking. I will reuse my current 19" hp monitor and buy one later on.
Still debating whether to reuse my old hard drive and wait for prices to come down. Or maybe get one second hand.

will this build work together/ be able to handle skyrim and perhaps some battlefield 3?
