RAM Help!!

That RAM should be fine with that motherboard. The real question is why are you buying a single stick of RAM for a triple channel MoBo?

If you already purchased it, might as well try it out, if it doesn't boot just return the ram.
 
First of all, welcome to TF, Tyr525. Nice to see another Pennsylvanian on here :p My first question is, why are you building a 1366 based system, and what are the other components you've purchased or plan on purchasing?
