RAM Help!!

I just purchased everything to make my first build. On the RAM I bought it say that it is designed for Intel LGA1156 but I'm building a LGA 1366. Isn't RAM universal?

That RAM should be fine with that motherboard. The real question is why are you buying a single stick of RAM for a triple channel MoBo?

If you already purchased it, might as well try it out, if it doesn't boot just return the ram.

I have 3 sticks 4gb each... it's all the same ram so I didn't specify how many sticks.

For gaming. My current pc can't keep up. And I got done putting it all together and the ram worked just fine.
