You use that to burn it to CD.

You can burn it to a pen drive using UNetbootin.

But, you can not run it in Windows. You need to boot up with it.

Run memtest first to make absolutely sure that is your issue. Better than to waste money on something you don't need.

You need a CD or a flash drive. It will not work with a ZIP drive. Borrow one from a friend.
