building a workstation with a asus 3 formula

ok im building a workstation using a asus 3 formula motherboard it boot fine the first time times but now when you turn it on it flickers off but when you take the 4 pin p2 or 8 pin p3 out it starts up but wont come on cause you need the p2 or p3 to run the cpu i think the motherborad it fried but im not sure

Sounds more like a power supply issue to me, what power supply are you using? What are your complete system spec's?

antec 750 watt earthwatt power supply but i tried the 650 antec from my old computer and it does the same thing
