GTX 580 power connectors

So I just got my gtx580 in and have a question about the power connectors. I have a Corsair HX850 which comes with 2 pci-2 6+2 pin connectors. Now my question comes with a diagram the card came with showing the proper 6pin connector

Now i lack a lot of knowledge when it comes to power connectors, but diagram shows that the 6pin connector is missing one pin. The two connectors that my PSU supplied have all 6 pins. I have two adapters that came with the card.

Obviously I dont want to go ahead and use the supplied 6+2 pin cable my psu supplied if it could harm my card. Should I be using the molex adpater with the 6pin cable? BTW sorry for the horrible picture quality and size, my phone's camera is junk

Don't use the adapters that came with the card.

Plug the 6+2 connectors directly from the PSU.

I agree with T0ken, just use the connectors directly from the power supply
