Thoughts on this Build?

First off, I've never built a computer before, but I have put an intense amount of research into this (Weeks of boredom in the office probably amounts to 20+ hours of research). However, it never hurts to have a second pair of eyes that knows what they are looking at. Thoughts?

All parts will be procured from Newegg. I have shortened some of the names but added the link in case it is an unrecognized part.

I have some other miscellaneous items worthy of note but not links, Arctic Silver 5 thermal paste, a superclocked keyboard, a monitor, and 64bit home premium Windows 7. I just said I'm buying a superclocked keyboard, confused?

My price range is $2000 and this build is currently at around $1825 (Before shipping)

The psu is way over sized and over priced. A quality 850 like a corsair, will handle 580 sli's and won't cost you a small fortune.

When you go over 1kW the price gets crazy.. The savings will allow you to get a WD Black or an aftermarket cooler.

I'm still trying to figure out why this build is so expensive, some things I noticed.

1) Its about $20 cheaper to get 2x 4GB RAM instead of 4x 2GB.

2) For about $50 cheaper you can get a 1TB hard drive that will perform comparably to a WD Caviar Black.

Wouldnt the western digital drive be faster then the Samsung spinpoint as it operates at sata III 6gb/s?

My only other suggestion would be to look at the HAF X if your sticking with air because it has 2 top mounted fans and a few more features. the 932 has a little more features geared towards people who want to water cool (you can internally mount 1 360mm rad and 2 240mm rads) but they are essentially the same case.

Superclocked keyboard? Can it overclock your typing speed?

That 1TB drive has a smaller cache and a higher latency. Its also 3GB/s, though I doubt the WD CB will ever reach 6 GB/s, it can still take advantage of the higher speed.

Don't buy (2) sets of memory for 8GB. Using all four slots is more stressful on the memory controller than just using two slots.

The Corsair Vengeance memory heatspreaders will interfere with most aftermarket heatsinks. Get this instead (plus you'll save a few dollars).

I'm seeing a lot of repeated suggestions so I've updated the opening post to reflect the current build. However multiple suggestions aren't necessarily bad, it actually helps in decision making when multiple people see the same thing as detrimental to the build.

Thank you for posting about the licensing/warranty information. I am fully aware that overclocking voids warranties however the after market cooler void was not something I was thinking about. I'm very glad I posted this here as not only is my build looking better but its $1850 now (Again, before shipping...). To be honest I wanted a mobo that more matched my case (Also I preferred a case with blue LEDs, I can always buy fans later) but for price to performance the mobo I currently have chosen is the best pick. Its just unfortunate it looks like a Lego water park. I don't intend to stare into my case all that much anyway.
