Hey, I wasnt sure where this would fall into place, so I will post it here.

I have Service Pack 2 installed, but everytime i use bittorrent, my internet gets all screwy and we have to reset the router and all. is there a way to get around this? or from now on i cant use bittorrent? also if its true that i cant, then what is a good alternate?

Have you checked the FAQ's, just through scanning I saw recommendations to update network drivers and download the latest version...

What about your firewall? do you have the bittorrent ports open? Or maybe your bittorrent downloader is using up too much bandwidth?

not sure. i dont want to mess the connection thing. i am not good with the internet stuff like bandwith. just hardware
