Need to know what kind of hdd my lappy takes

Hi All , I have bought this NX8220 2nd hand and it doesnt have a hdd in it , how can you tell if it is sata or ide ( by looking at the female socket on the lappy , its looking like two continus rows where the hdd goes into )
am I right to say its a ide model lappy ?
