Cold Cathode Lighting

So if you use an LED light you won't get that reactive glow in the tubing? Has anyone had any problems with thier mobo? Obviously the picture above shows fading of the ram slots but has it caused any brittleness with the mobo or cause anything to break?

It hasn't, but I have also not had issues with cathodes causing them to become brittle in other machines, and these are machines that had cathodes for 5+ years.
