I'm looking at buying an LCD monitor, but don't have unlimited cash allowance (if you know what I mean ) I found this at new egg. Let me know if this is good or not. If you would buy it for the price.

I would get this lcd for the money and the response time.I think its a good deal.Only thing i dont like is inbuilt speakers ?

The fastest LCD you will find is about 12ms.. At that "speed" you will not get anymore than 100-150 fps. After that, you will see ghosting. Not only do CRT's have better quality, they are also 10x faster. A typical CRT has a response time of 0ms, or instantaneous.

The ONLY reason to have an LCD is to save space..

Take a look at the Samsung 997DF..
