He can always add a cooler later when he decides to overclock, but there no good reason to buy a K series Intel cpu if your not going to buy a mobo that supports it.

How is the stock cooler for the 2500k?
I heard it wasn't too shabby.
Not serious oc material but still decent.
Would that be correct?

i have read you can easily get to 3.9 - 4 with the stock cooler? .. I may be wrong? I plan on doing small OC'ing soon .. and major OC'ing later on... I just didnt want to get the non k version now and have to re-build in a year.

So as of now I would like to get a MOBO that would be able to support OC'ing ..

Will this be able to handle it. Its rite in my price range.
Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-P67A-D3-B3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

I'd say 3.7-4.0GHz on stock depending on your temps, but yeah its fine for a minor OC.

Yes you can OC on that board, most of the reviews on Newegg include their OC speed.

Considering your budget restrictions thats the board I'd go with.

If you can find the extra $ though I'd get the Asus board that Slaymate suggested.
