D3 Beta Graphics Card

I need a graphics card. doesn't have to be anything particularly special. just enough to play current game at mid to high levels detail smoothly and that doesnt cost to much preferably.

blizzards recommended cards are

-nvidia GeForce 260 or better

-ATI Radeon HD 4870 or better

i don't really know how good these cards are so i want to go for better if possible. i dont want to have to upgrade again for a while seeing as im a poor college student

What games are you hoping to play?
What is your budget, if you don't want to pay too much? How much is "too much"?

thats too much. 150 is my absolute max. games i want to play are starcraft 2, diablo 3, and right now thats it. although i may pick up something else if i find it.

What power supply do you currently have in your computer.

I'd suggest opening your side panel and checking the label on the power supply if you're not sure.

I just assume that people use cards. If you are gaming, you do not typically use onboard.

I just got a sapphire 6670. Costed $100 on newegg and I have been able to play every game Maxed out . Crysis 2 Maxed with dx11@ 34-53 fps. Battlefield 3 alpha maxed @ 38-59 fps. It's a better card than people think
