resolution problems with new computer

I just upgraded my motherboard/cpu and video card, and I can no longer get my monitor to go to 1600x1200 resolution which I am desperate for. On the old cpu with cheapo integrated video I had no problems just using that resolution with plug & play. But now that I have upgraded and have Radeon 9600. I of course have all the Radeon drivers installed, and I have tried installing the correct drivers for my monitor. Unfortunately it is a MAG monitor and it appears that they don't have any XP approved drivers available (jeez!). Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this, or of what exactly the problem may be? Thank you! I am desperate to get my high res back!

-get another monitor
-search for monitor drivers until u find them

Also check if u got the latest ATI drivers.

got ati's latest drivers, i get all sorts of errors from that software now but my resolution is back up. thanks haha
