Internal Laptop Hard Drive

I'm assuming this is the appropriate section to post this in.

I am currently needing a new hard drive for my extra laptop I have sitting around. The current one that is installed is corrupted and basically ready for the trash. I reinstalled the Operating system and it did nothing. Id anyone could suggest a good hard drive for a relatively cheap price, with at least 500gb of space.

500GB start at $55 on NewEgg, but I would spring $70 and get a nice drive.

the Black line all have five year warranties and are nice and fast.

My advice is stick with a Western Digital, ive had them for years, very hard wearing and reliable, also dont just go for the cheapest one you will end up loosing all your data for a few pounds

I use an old 20GB as a doorstop!

But yes, get the WD Blacks. They are the fastest kids on the block.
