Prescott or Northwood??

I guess the price on the northwood is because it runs cooler? And, I don't think the northwood could keep up at all.

Name the clock speed for one
3.2ghz and below the Northwood ownz, 3.4ghz they are basicly equal, but 3.6ghz and beyond the Prescott can spread it legs and fly, let alone they stopped the Northwood at 3.4ghz
The Northwood kicks Prescott butt at lower clock speeds because the Prescott has a longer pipeline which needs to be fed with higher clock speeds

I see, so the prescott is more intel-ish while the northwood is more AMD-ish as far as clocks. Like a 2.2amd=3.2intel. I guess i'll go northwood at 2.8 and OC to about 3.2. I just bought one of those free Mobos from newegg, so i gotta get a semi cheap proc and HD to go with it(it has integrated graphics). I already have a Case and PS. Woot for a 300$ computer thats decently fast.
