2nd Build, need help/suggestions plz!

Haven't been to these forums in ages, since building my last computer. The forum changes look nice!

I am building a computer for my Brother who uses things like Adobe Premiere & may play a game or two.


The budget is $600.00 he told me for the actual Desktop.

Assuming I'm not missing anything,,,
The current total is: $721.90

So I need to drop it by $120, and I hope I have everything... I am completely open for suggestions as I haven't done this in awhile. Wanting to order within 3 days, thanks for any help!

But with that combo, $50.00 mail in rebate so I'm actually at $671.90. Hmmmm I need help fellas!

EDIT: Oh, and since I haven't done this in so long, if there's a rehauling that is required, I would completely understand. I just threw this together in a bit to get an idea. THANKS!

The cooler you picked is no better than the stock heatsink that comes with the cpu.

The power supply that comes with that case only supplies 18A per 12v rail. The GT 430 requires a power supply that supplies 22A on the 12v rail.

I think you need to look for a AMD based system.

I have never put together an AMD based system so I don't really know where to start, just because I haven't heard names or seen their CPUs and mobo's. I was just going off what I did know.

Is there a Graphics Card / Mobo / CPU you can suggest for me within this budget? I'll look around but I don't know whats good.
