Well, I reloaded XP in a fit of desperation. I got some kind of malware that filled my screen with a window upon starting my computer, and wouldn't let me do anything, close the window, or otherwise get around it. I spent 3 hours researching (on my other computer) how to remove this, and never figured it out, so I just reloaded XP. I have a second hard drive with almost all of my important stuff on it, so I figured why not. I haven't had any other weird issues since the reload, except for this.
