Overclocking my AMD Athlon II x4 640

Components:
-AMD Athlon II X4 640 - Hyper TX3 cooler
- Asus M5A 78L-M LX Motherboard
- Kingmax 2x4GB DDR3 1333
- ATI Gigabyte 6850
- Corsair tx 650 power supply.

my processor is 3ghz at stock and i have it overclocked to 3.45 ghz. these are some pictures to see if you guys think it is a stable overclock, as this is the first time i have overclocked.

max temp never iver ever been able to get it to is 59 c

Nope, that looks pretty good. You can probably OC it further if it only goes to 59C.
 
I have almost the exact same setup as you. I'm running a X4 635 with an Asus M4A78LT-M. I'd say 65C is the max you wanna go with this chip. I have mine at 3.6Ghz stable. If you have a good cpu cooler you could gain more.

With these Athlon II chips, it's best to keep the HT Link speed between 1800-2200 for more stability. You get no performance increase that is noticeable with higher HT speeds. You should lower your HT Speed to 1800mhz in bios.

If you wanna go further in your overclock, bump the CPU Over Voltage up like two more clicks and increase the fsb slowly in increments. You would also then may have to increase nb voltage as well. You do gain some performance increase with a higher NB Frequency.
