I'm still fairly new and I have my setup pretty much down. But I want to know if I should upgrade my PSU or if 650W will be enough?
Here is the PSU I decided to go with (because I got a package deal with it)
Newegg.com - CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 (CMPSU-650HX) 650W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
Here is all the other stuff I'll be trying to provide power to.
The processor:
Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80623I52500K
The motherboard:
Newegg.com - MSI P67A-GD55 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
The graphics card:
Amazon.com: EVGA GeForce GTX 580 1536 MB GDDR5 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card - Lifetime Warranty 015-P3-1580-AR: Electronics
The RAM:
Newegg.com - G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR
The Case:
Antec Lanboy Air Red Black / Red Computer Modular Case
The Speakers:
Newegg.com - Logitech Z623 200 w 2.1 Speaker System, THX-Certified
Just wondering if this set up will suck up too many watts or if my power supply wont provide the necessary current. 650W and 52A @ 12V. Thanks!
