Easy split for projector AND monitor?

In my job I have to deal with a lot of projectors but my eyes just don't focus well on the projected visuals. Basically, for when I need to present or work on the systems attached to these, I need a quick and easy "Splitter" I can easily plug into an lcd monitor to allow the images to go both ways without any real setup needing to be done.

Is this possible?

If you have 2 outputs, DVI/VGA/HDMI, you can just connect both to the computer.

You can buy a simple splitter on ebay for pennies, I have one for my laptop so I can have it on 3 screens, laptop, tv and spare monitor, this way I can game, watch a movie and be on the internet!

VGA splitter is what you would be looking for. It's just a dongle that splits the 1 VGA connection into multiple displays, duplicating the 1 signal.
