double sided rams are faster than single sided rams.

Im not too sure if i got it correctly, but i think dual sided rams are usually called DIMM. It is a RAM module that holds chips that allows dual channels to be used in a single RAM interface. It contains 184 pins providing dual 32-bit memory paths summing up to a single 64-bit memory path. SIMMs (Single Inline Memory Modules) on the other hand are single-sided modules that contained 72 pins and provide only a single 32-bit data path.
I think, in terms of the mobo...it does not really matter. what matters is the type of memory (ddr,sdr,rambus) that your mobo will supports...BUT,..again,..im not so sure bout this,...anyway,..if youre planning to buy rams,..just make sure the you get what your mobo supports.
