Video card running max speed right out of sleep mode.

Hey everyone,

Anyone have any ideas why my video card's fan would be running at max speed for the last hour since I brought it out of sleep mode? Any help to diagnose this would great.

What card do you have? is there something in its control settings to have it go full blast? We need to know a bit more to help you.

And is the heatsink and fan clean of heat trapping dust? If you are overclocking, stop! At least until this is resolved.

Me either. Black is a great text color for important information. I typically don't take colored text seriously.

Anyway, like Slaymate said, get the temps of the card.
